The figure of Salvador Dalí cannot be understood without knowing his intimate environment, the people with whom he interacted and the house where he was born in Figueres.
On the occasion of its inauguration, the Salvador Dalí Birthplace relied on us for the development of its digital communication plan and network marketing. In addition, we took responsibility for the digital communication campaigns in social networks and marketing during its first months.
Starting from scratch in terms of contacts and followers in the different communication channels, we faced the challenge of reaching the desired audience. To achieve our goals, we combined various digital marketing strategies and organic growth in social networks, supported by a content project that was deployed in different editorial lines.
One of the biggest challenges of this project was working with a very limited number of images copyrighted by the Gala-Salvador Dalí Foundation. This forced us to create a visual universe of our own, inspired by the sensations that the House gives off during the visit, but without revealing details that could spoil the experience in person.
The key for us was to create innovative and well-founded editorial lines that reflected our commitment to a culturally enriching approach, given our background in Humanities and Art History. In addition, each editorial line was designed from a creative and unique point of view:
- Informative editorial line: This line made the Salvador Dalí Birthplace visible, openly inviting visitors to visit it, contextualizing it within the city and the territory, and communicating its activity.
- Km cero editorial line: Aimed at the local environment, it sought to involve the Figueres community through various actions, such as video surveys, to explore and discuss perceptions or even their memories of Dalí.
- Editorial line Secret Life: Based on key texts such as the novel autobiography The Secret Life of Salvador Dalí (1942) and Salvador Dalí as seen by his sister (1949) by Anna Maria Dalí, we were able to offer a more intimate and human vision of the artist.
In short, we follow a communicative, seductive, groundbreaking and provocative style, arousing curiosity about the House and offering an intimate and personal vision of Dalí.
