Intro

Speculars⎯ Speculars is a podcast series in English, produced by Deckard for the Institut Ramon Llull, which seeks to position the institute as a reference in the production of speculative knowledge, exploring various possible ways of organizing and approaching the world.

Project

Available on the main podcast platforms, Speculars⎯ Especulars invites people from the cultural field to participate in the two episodes that make up each chapter of this first season. In the first episode, the guest is interviewed, and in the second, he or she becomes the curator of the program.

Each chapter offers a glimpse of reality, examining different possibilities and visions of dual concepts and blurring the boundaries between production roles. The result is an experiment that moves between the interview, the artistic work, the reportage, the reading aloud and the sound image, exploring the tensions, synergies and possibilities that are generated between them.

Critical thinking, in this context, opens a space for uncertainty and values doubt, questions and hypotheses as engines of fundamental creativity and speculative imagination, essential elements for both collective and individual construction.
