The future is here, generative content visualization

Intro

For the Museo Picasso Málaga we have conceptualized and coordinated the production of the digital project "The future is already here". On the occasion of its 20th anniversary, the museum asks its visitors the question: What do you want the museum of the future to be like?

Project

A touch device allows to choose from a selection of twenty concepts. A screen and the web show, in real time, the result of the votes by dynamically organizing them. The more votes a concept has, the more space and color intensity it has.

To achieve this solution, we have relied on the always invaluable creativity of the OPHION team, whose proposal has been to adapt the Voronoi algorithm, used for data visualization, to create this system connected to a real-time database. Each vote triggers an immediate change in the visualization, offering a vivid representation of the results.
